Maps are removed or changed because they encourage or facilitate poor meta, think swamp pre patch, it was the most drawn map in the game. Maps like port, dragon valley where unbalanced and/or poorly designed. Windstorm encourages teams to plow head on into each other or camp it out, neither are 'exciting' I'm not sure what your problem is, we are discussing a map, why do you have to make it about 'good players' and 'bad players'. I could also pad in a light tank, become a uni and then post reviews too.
I'm only average player as a team player but I managed to at least be alot less frustrated that way instead of getting upset that others are doing ridiculous things on maps and going where they shouldn't be going. Sure if your planning things in cws then it may be an issue but its not all about cws either where everything is planed.īe spontaneous regardless of map and adjust to what is happening rather than the ideal of what should happen is what I've learned anyway. Not only that but alot of the players in pubs do strange things and are unpredictable anyway sometimes all lemming in one direction in a field when the city is being neglected. Live with it and enjoy the intricate journey rather than worrying about the end result. rather than constant competitiveness and wanting certain maps deleted like port etc that had an unfair advantage oh boo hoo one time you may get the good side, other times you may get the bad side big deal. Imho bring back all the deleted maps whether corridor or otherwise for variety aesthetics and fun which is the spice of life.
Or do forum members here feel they have some form of elitism?

In addition why don't players discuss more of the details of why they don't like something instead of just saying its a shit map and talking in esoteric code for only the elite to understand.

Why not just enjoy the corridor maps as much as the open field maps or the full city maps like Karkov for VARIETY? Or does variety and aesthetics mean nothing to a lot of other anal retentive competitive little ego players? Why not also get upset with Ruinberg as that has a few obvious routes too not to mention Himmelsdorf who according to '4 tankers and a dog' on his video whoever wins the hill in both Himelsdorf and mines wins the game ie 80% of the time so no choice on those maps if you really adhere to stats there either. Is that all the game is to some people here just worried that noobs will know where to go and decrease the skill between good and bad players? It seems alot of them complain because they want it harder for noobs so their egotistical competitive spirit can crush tomatoes easier. This is true Bolonase & is a good point but that shouldn't worry the good players either as it gives them a different challenge. It's literally the definition of corridor meta. I'm not sure but it does seem a splendid city full of hidden secrets. It could have been an extension of me surrounded by enemy tanks when i was in the city in pub battle. It was also another reason I needed a break from WOT. I then had a follow up dream of it about a few days later and I wrote about it then but cant find it now. However I soon found a trap door and went down the gloomy darkness and then I woke up. For some reason I couldn't get out of the house and people kept peering into the big window at me and the door wouldn't open to the outside. When I opened the door and walked in the door slammed shut behind me and trapped me inside. Some town clerks and I were coming down the footpath to my house there. It seemed a medieval time as I was dressed in ancient clothes.

I remember it because I had a sequel of it a few nights after that. I was living in one of those houses with the big windows with the big gray arch door with my name in one of those signs. I think its a Norwegian map if I remember looking it up ages ago as I was curious about it because I actually had a dream about Windstorm. Maybe its because you guys have fewer maps now to play with and the rotation of the restricted maps now for tiers is getting more common and predictable.
This is exactly why 10 great maps get deleted because someone says hes bored with one of them.
